Benjamin Zephaniah is a pioneering dub poet, musician and acclaimed author whose work has educated and inspired an entire generation of people. Benjamin once lived in Liverpool and continues to draw huge support from the city.
Benjamin’s live performances are the stuff of legend and he has garnered a reputation as both an educator and an entertainer.
His music is largely founded on principle of the ‘reggae heartbeat’; allowing the body to move in harmony with the rhythms of the music. Benjamin will be performing songs and poems from his back catalogue including tracks from his 2017 release ‘Revolutionary Minds’.
